Alfred Hitchcock

He was a famous film director. He was born on august 13, 1899, in London. Their parents were storekeepers. He lived in a catholic boarding school, in this place the teachers beat him. On 1913 He left School and he started to watch movies and plays. In 1916 he worked in the advertising department of the Henley. In 1920 he worked in the Famous Players Lasky, he was editor, artistic director and screewriter on more films. In 1926 he married with Alma Reville. They had a daughter in 1928, Her name was Patricia. In 1929 Hitchcock directed his first film, her name was The pleasure Garden. After this movie he make 25 films in United Kingdom. But in 1940, the Hollywood producer David O.Selznick hired to Hitchcock, in 1940 he directed his first american film, this film is Rebecca, hitchcock won the oscar for the best picture. In the following years he made many films, but the best know films are these: , Spellbound, Notorius, I Confess, Dial M for Murder, Rear window, To catch thief, Vertigo, North by northwest, Psycho, The Birds, Marnie, Torn Curtain and Frenzy. He died on abril 29, 1980. The Hitchcock's movies are the best of suspense and intrigue of cinema history.
